About

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor who has lived in Jacksonville most of my life. I studied dance and psychology at Jacksonville University and received my Master of Education degree in Counselor Education from The University of North Florida.

While completing my graduate degree I worked as a case manager and court advocate supporting victims of domestic violence at Hubbard House. After finishing my graduate studies, I provided therapy to children and their families struggling with life’s stressors at Jewish Family and Community Services. My most recent work has focused on the college population. I have been fortunate enough to provide students at the University of North Florida assistance transitioning into adulthood.

While I assist individuals with variety of issues, I am passionate about building confidence and facilitating identity development, , helping victims of abuse heal, LGBTQ+ issues, and substance abuse recovery. I am trained to utilize EMDR in the treatment of a variety of issues including acute stress disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.

While I love being deeply connected to my hometown I also love to travel and experience new cultures. I make my family and friends a priority and for this reason I work hard to maintain my relationships. I believe life can be more satisfying and enjoyable when it is full of diverse people and experiences. I would love to help you find a more fulfilling life and have healthier relationships.
